The Presidents’ forum on Racial Equity in Philanthropy
March 28-29, 2019 | Washington, DC
Join us for a day-and-a-half meeting of CEOs at the Walton Family Foundation in Washington, D.C. Together, we'll explore the leadership challenge and promising practices focused specifically on racial and ethnic equity.
The Presidents’ Forum offers peer-to-peer support, a learning network, and facilitated dialogue. You'll consider how racial equity relates to organizational change, reflect on challenges faced, hear about promising practices, and receive guidance for funders.
The Presidents’ Forum facilitation team, co-led by Michael Allison and Yavilah McCoy, will guide and engage foundation presidents in dynamic conversations around these urgent issues and consider concrete tools and strategies to seamlessly integrate racial equity into program and learning processes.
The Presidents' Forum will open with lunch at 12:00 pm on March 28 and close at 4:15 pm on March 29. Day one will include dinner and a special performance by artist Sarah Jones.
